Week 59/52

This week was slow but alright none the less.

August 15, 2017: We had Zone Conference which was great as usual. The meeting was focused on setting goals and having the faith to find. It was a good meeting. Then we had interviews which were good as well.

Spiritual: Faith determines destiny 

August 16, 2017: We did studies which was good and we had a meeting with Bishop S, our local bishop to discuss the Ward mission which was really good.

Spiritual: If you have any struggles talk with your bishop he can help.

August 17, 2017: We did not do much as Elder H

was not feeling well at all. 

Spiritual: Scripture study is always helpful 

August 18, 2017: We helped the Longs Peak Elders with service for much of the day, which was good as it got us out for a while. 

Spiritual: Service is good for the soul

August 19, 2017: We helped set up the stake Carnival which was good as we also got to attend it which was fun hanging out with other missionaries.

Spiritual: Serving can be fun

August 20, 2017: We had church which was terrific, afterwards we had a lesson with a family whose kids go to our ward with one of their friends families and that lesson was terrific they had so many questions and are more than willing to read the Book of Mormon.

Spiritual: Member Missionary work is so good and helpful.

August 21, 2017: We do not have much planned for the day, maybe watch the eclipse but not much else.

Spiritual: Remember you cannot help anyone else if you are not well yourself

Week 57/51

This past week has been good.

August 8,2017: We had a lesson with an investigator named S which went okay but she is not really wanting to progress which is too bad. In the evening we had a visit with a less active which was good but again as with S he does not want to change and improve.

Spiritual: Life requires change for there to be growth.

August 9, 2017: We had district meeting which was fun as always. Aside from that we went trying to contact less actives to no success. Then we went to a member's home with Elders H and CB and Sisters G and M

and helped the member with yard work which was fun.

Spiritual: Service is good for the soul

August 10, 2017: We went tracting with a soon to be missionary in one of the other wards which was alright but did not see any success. Aside from that not too much happened which was fun as normal.

Spiritual: Success is difficult but difficulties bring blessings

August 11, 2017:We had weekly planning which was good but took much of the day up much of the day which was good.

Spiritual: Planing is important.

August 12,2017: We went and helped a member move out yard trash of leaves and branches to the dump which was fun. Then we helped clean out the window wells which was good aside from the huge spiders but it was what it was. The service took up most of the day thankfully.

Spiritual: Overcoming fears is important to best help others.

August 13, 2017: We had church and a meeting with the bishop about the work in the area. Aside from that not much happened.

Spiritual: The Sabbath is a delight

Week 56/50

This past week has been a lot of fun kinda.

August 1, 2017: Our truck was in the shop most of the day which was so much fun as I am sure you can imagine. Elder H kept practicing learning the song fragile from lds youth on piano. In the evening after we got our car back we went to try a few people before Elder H got help from a member on learning the song.

Spiritual: Having transportation is a huge blessing.

August 2, 2017: We had district meeting which was a blast as usual. Then we went and tried a few less actives before dinner. After dinner we finished studies which was good.

Spiritual: Meetings can be a lot of fun.

August 3, 2017: We went and tried contacting less actives for a bit to no luck. Then we went and tried tracting but were quickly rained out which was super joyful. Then we went to the fair for service which was fun.

Spiritual: Work brings blessings.

August 4, 2017: We did not do a whole awful lot. We helped a member build pieces of furniture which was fun. Then we did weekly planning and studies. Then we planned to do service at the Nilsen's but we were rained out as it was a crazy rain storm.

Spiritual: Service is always fun.

August 5, 2017: We had a lesson with a recent convert which was good and fun. Following that we did studies before we tried contacting a few less actives. Then we went and helped set up for an event at the stake center before we went to the fair to do service. That was a lot of fun aside from the huge rainstorm which came out of nowhere.

Spiritual: Helping others come closer to god always is a blessing.

August 6, 2017: We had church today which was fantastic as always but what made it better was the fact we got a referral today which was neat.

Spiritual:Blessings come from hard work 

August 7, 2017: We have a breakfast with the stake president today at 7 which will be interesting. Aside from that nothing is really scheduled for the day. I asked him how many missionaries are in the stake and he said 7 companionships.

Spiritual: Having a day to prepare for the week always uplifts spirits

Week # 55/49 Longmont

This week has been different but good. Pictures of are district before transfers and of the Longmont/ Loveland zone before transfers.

July 25, 2017: We had Transfers which was good. My new companion Elder H and I were with Elder Ha much of the day. After he met with his new companion we all went to a service training which was pretty boring but whatever as it filled much of the rest of the night.

Spiritual: Change is always good.

July 26, 2017: We had district meeting which was really good but very long but whatever I suppose. We then spent a few hours trying to set up Elder H

new iPad which was fun.

Spiritual: Meetings are always good. 

July 27, 2017: We did service at a local food pantry which was alright. We then worked on clearing out the area books which was so much fun. Then we went and helped a member with clearing their yard which was a lot of fun.

Spiritual: Service is always a lot of fun.

July 28, 2017: We did service at the county fair helping set up which was not the most fun but it was alright none the less. We then did some weekly planning which was fun before we helped a family move into the Ward which was fun.

Spiritual: Planning brings blessings.

July 29, 2017: We went and visited a few member families which took up most of the day. We helped the same family from the 27th with their yard again which was fun as we also recruited the Sisters to come and help which made things a lot more fun.

Spiritual: Meeting people is always interesting.

July 30, 2017: We had church which was a lot of fun. It was weird not being in a branch anymore but it was all good. Aside from church we did not do too much.

Spiritual: Church should be one of the best parts of the week.

July 31, 2017: We have P-Day which is good. We had to take our truck in for an oil change which was so joyous. That's about all we have planned for the day.

Spiritual: Having a day to recover spirituality is always important
