Week 2 Yuma

Not a whole lot happened this week which was alright

January 17, 2018:We had district meeting which was good. After that we
had service which was just filling out paperwork. After that we tried
contacting people to no success.
Spiritual: Meetings with people of like minds is always good

January 18, 2018:We did a small bit of service which was good. Then we
did some contacting and dropped a few more people which were both good
in some ways.
Spiritual: Don’t hang onto things that pull you down

January 19, 2018: We had weekly planning which was good but took most
of the day.
Spiritual: Planning is important

January 20, 2018:We were on Exchanges which were good, most of it was
service as all four of us were together. When we split up Elder
K and I walked around and visited a few people before the
exchange closed.
Spiritual: Change gives new perspective

January 21, 2018: We had church which was great. After church we drove
to our apartment and were told to park our car there which was fun.
Then we walked to the church for studies which were really good. Then
we walked to our dinner and the wind was fun as it blasted our face
with tiny shards of ice.
Spiritual: The lord blesses us with challenges.

January 22, 2018: We did a lot of service, mostly shovelling snow but
a bit of slitting wood as well which was fun, but took most of the
day. Aside from that not much happened.
Spiritual: Service is good for the soul

January 23, 2018: It’s P-Day so not much on the schedule for the day.
Spiritual: Rest and relaxation are important

God be with you until we meet again,
Elder Joshua Patterson

I asked him if he enjoyed the small towns since he has only lived in the big city  and he said he really does like the small towns. Yuma was in his district at the very beginning of his mission so he is enjoying serving their.
